It’s been a while since we’ve had a Marc’s Cellar feature, and for that we apologize. But today we make it up to you by featuring three exceptional vine values: The Savuto Odoardi Red Blend, the Barone Fini Pinot Grigio, and the Llai Llai Chardonnay. Our suppliers need room in their warehouses, so these quality wines are priced to sell!
The Savuto Odoardi is a dry red wine produced in the Italian provinces of Cosenz and Catanzaro, and takes its name from the Savuto River. This is an exceptional red blend that features Gaglioppo, Greco Nero, Nerello Cappuccio, Magliocco Canino, and Sangiovese grapes. Normally priced at $22.99, this bottle is now only $7.99.
The Barone Fini Pinot Grigio is a quality dry white from the northern region of Italy. It features a fresh and fruity flavor with a flowery bouquet. A perfect accompaniment to light dishes or an excellent aperitif by itself, this bottle has been reduced from $15.99 to only $12.99.
The Llai Llai Chardonnay is an excellent Chilean selection from the remote Bio Bio Valley. The Bio Bio’s cool climate allow the the grape to ripen slowly, preserving their fresh tropical fruit flavors and floral notes. The name “Llai Llai” comes from the Mapuche language and means “wind”. Enjoy this exotic treat at the very low price of only $7.99 per bottle, (normally priced at $14.99!)
These three selections are not only exceptional values, but also wines that I have personally enjoyed, and now have a home in Marc’s Cellar.
